Muriel Maufroy
Muriel Maufroy worked as a journalist and radio producer for
the BBC for many years. Through her travels and personal quest, she has
become involved with the various cultures of the Near and Middle East.
She is the author of Rumi's Daughter, a novel based on the life of the
Persian poet Jalaluddin Rumi, and is currently studying Persian at
SOAS. She has also published a book of Rumi's quotations, Breathing
Truth.
